What do we do?
We help people get back to work by providing resources, support services, and job training. While some of these services are connected to specific eligibility criteria, a good deal of WorkSource services are available to everyone, at no cost and with no eligibility required.
This means that you can visit your local center to get help with your resume, take part in a mock interview, or use our resource room computers and internet to search and apply for jobs—all for free!
WorkSource also helps eligible job seekers by providing support services to help with the cost of childcare, clothing for work, gas cards, and more. We can also help you become job ready by providing training scholarships for careers that have current job openings in industries that are growing.
How do you become eligible for these services? The first step is to attend our Employment and Training Orientation at the Vancouver center, which takes place on Thursdays from 1-2 p.m. At these orientations, you’ll learn more about the process to receive training, along with eligibility criteria. After attending, an Employment Specialist will reach out to you individually to discuss your situation, eligibility, and training needs.
If you’re ready to return to work or advance in your career, visit WorkSource at 204 SE Stone Mill Drive, Suite 215, Vancouver, WA 98684 or call at 360.735.5000. Language assistance is available and all services are free of charge.
